We cannot recommend Diane highly enough.  Following many moves and real estate transactions around the country, we can safely say that Diane is the very best agent we have ever worked with.  Diane’s level of customer service and professionalism far exceeded any expectations we ever could have had. We were blown away by her knowledge, efficiency, diligence, thoughtfulness and her genuine concern for the quality of our relocation experience. Diane made an impression on us that will never be forgotten, and we would highly recommend her to anyone!

“Relocating here from another state, I needed someone knowledgeable about neighborhoods, school systems, commute times, and value. Diane gave me that, as well as history. She dedicated herself to helping me find the right house in the right location according to my time constraints. And when we found that house, she worked around the clock to make the deal happen. Throughout the process, my best interests were her top priority.  I am so grateful for her!  I give Diane my highest recommendation!”

On arriving in a new city and in fact a new country I could not have wished for a greater relocation specialist than Diane. She took me by the hand and helped me with EVERYTHING! She listened and watched, taking in my likes and dislikes eventually finding me my perfect home. Her local knowledge reaches real depths meaning she has great tips and advice for anyone new to the area. She is incredibly personable, straightforward and respectful. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Diane is the best.  No matter what kind of needs you have as a buyer, she will exceed expectations.  Numerous colleagues and friends, some with families and others single, strongly recommended Diane.  Personally, I am new to Seattle and a first-time home buyer, and she seamlessly helped with the selection, purchase and details post-sale.  After one single meeting, she immediately understood my requirements and was extremely responsive via email/text.  Most importantly, she provided excellent guidance about how to maximize the attractiveness of my offer, to improve the value of the investment, to expedite the process and to protect my financial best-interest.  I was so impressed with her professionalism and attention to detail that I was even comfortable asking her to manage the closing process while I was unexpectedly traveling out of the country.  Even after the sale, she provided recommendations for home services – mortgage loan, custom blinds, landscaping, art framing/hanging.  I would be more than happy to speak by phone with any potential client.

Our family used the services of Diane Vallentyne from Home Destination Real Estate during our recent relocation in June 2013 from New Delhi, India to Bellevue, WA. Since we had never lived in the United States before, we did not only need to look for a home to rent; we needed assistance in understanding which areas would be best for schools, commuting to work, shopping and social purposes. Diane was able to help us find a home within the first 24 hours of our search, and what a home! The house met all our requirements and more: perfect size, a lovely yard, a wonderful neighborhood, great connectivity to Seattle, close to downtown Bellevue, and within Bellevue High School catchment area…. and even within walking distance from a wonderful beach on Lake Washington. We could not have wished for more! Diane did not stop here: while taking us to view properties, she pointed out where we could shop, bank, go to the restaurant or to the movies, she accompanied us to open our first bank account and escorted us to the Licensing Department to start the process to acquire a Washington driving permit. It was simply wonderful! And she always had a smile for us and answered the phone promptly whenever we had needed further assistance. Thank you, Diane!

My family and I would like to acknowledge with our deep gratitude the invaluable assistance Diane Vallentyne of the Home Destination provided us in our relocation to Seattle in 2013. Diane has not only been exceptionally professional in her work but personally kind and friendly, doing her job with such grace. She was most well informed about the area of work that she was to assist us in, very punctual with her appointments and proactive in her thinking to find solutions.

Finding a home of our choice was not easy, considering the rather diverse and unique requirements we had. I must admit our desire to find the house that matched all our needs would have tested the effectiveness and patience of anybody assisting us for the purpose. Diane however went about it with the calmness and patience of a professional totally in command over her field and continued to assist us until we found what we wanted. On many occasions and on many issues Diane went beyond the call of her duty to help us. My family joins me in thanking her for everything she did to make our relocation easy and worthwhile and to say without any hesitation that she was a great representative of the company she worked for in particular and the American people in general. I have no hesitation in saying that without her assistance we would have faced very testing times to say the least and that many other families like us can benefit for the wealth of experience she has as a professional and a heart full of desire to help others as a person.

In the summer of 2013, I was in the market for a new residence. A friend of mine knew I was looking and recommended Diane to me. I hadn’t considered working with an agent to help find a rental property, but she was very happy to assist me. Over an email I shared some basic things I was looking for in a new place along with my budget. Within an hour, Diane provided me with an initial list of properties to consider. A little later, she sent a few more properties that also fit my criteria. And then finally, before the end of the night, a property she had discovered because it had just been listed for the first time. Her note with the listing read, “This looks like fun!” Although many of the properties Diane sent me would have met my expectations, this looked like a truly one in a million property. I was excited to see it and Diane was able to set up a tour of the property for the following morning with the listing agent. Suffice it to say, fun was just the beginning. The place was so rare in its location and so beyond description in terms of its overall design and level of finish that we decided to move forward with the leasing process. Diane sent me an online application and she coordinated everything with the listing agent. I think it was only a day or two before I was sitting down with them to sign all the paperwork. 24 hours later I was given a final walk-through and a set of keys. I have had the place just over six months and I still can’t believe how lucky I am. I feel like I live in a place that in the past I would only have been able to enjoy on vacation. People always say, “Oh wow, how did you find this place?” The answer is: I didn’t. Diane did. I was just lucky to find Diane. It was her professional intuition, dedication, and fastidiousness last summer that now allows me to spend every day in a place that constantly brings new meaning to the term fun.
